Digital Dos At Sales Academy

Digital Dos At Sales Academy

Hurst has delivered the first in a series of digital marketing and online sales workshops designed to help its customers promote its door products effectively online and generate more leads.

The company says this reinforces its position as a long-term partner to the trade. Further ‘Sales Academy’ workshops are planned throughout the year.

Focused on practical application, the workshops provide hands-on guidance to help businesses strengthen their presence on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Each session is supported by a comprehensive digital toolkit, including ready-to-use templates, content frameworks and step-by-step guides that attendees can continue to use long after the workshop has finished.

Rather than focusing on theory, the sessions are tailored to the realities of running an independent business, offering clear, time-efficient ways to plan content, present products consistently and convert online engagement into enquiries.

Customer support

Hayley Barker, the head of marketing at Hurst, said: “We’re a door manufacturer first and foremost but supporting our customers goes beyond supplying products.

“The feedback from the first workshop showed there’s real value in practical, usable marketing support. These sessions are about giving people tools and guidance they can actually apply, rather than adding another task to their to-do list.”

The workshops are designed to help customers increase visibility and generate leads for Hurst products, including the recently introduced S-Class solid core composite door range and Securicore reinforced panel, which achieves PAS 24 when tested as part of a full doorset.

What’s on offer

Each session covers content planning, messaging, product presentation as well as guidance on measuring results, supported by editable templates and reference materials that can be adapted to suit individual businesses, helping to maintain consistency while reducing the time needed to market effectively online.

“With trading conditions still challenging, strong online communication can make a real difference,” added Barker. “The businesses that perform well are often the ones that communicate clearly and consistently.

“These workshops form part of our wider commitment to supporting customers over the long term, combining practical marketing support with a product range designed to help them compete.”
